Amongst the stuff taken from my Grandas house was a large collection of postcards that he had collected over the years. All were blank except one that he had sent to me from Australia.
I sliced the postcards into strips and I layed them out in kind of a brick wall formation. I also tried to make sure that no two sections from the same postcard were touching each other.
It was an attempt to create a glitched style image using the postcards aswell as collecting the memory of these journeys together into one visual display.
